In memory of Graham Pratt
It is with regret that Graham Pratt from the Chippenham MDC, and a regional committee member passed away on Monday 25th April at 2:00 p.m., in the presence of his son Ryan. It was quite sudden and Terry his close friend had been out metal detecting with him on the previous day Sunday and they had an enjoyable time together.
Graham was a well respected member of the club, and both him and Terry formed the club together. They have been friends business partners since school days, and encouraged good metal detecting practice.
He was a principled man and up held the Treasure Laws, he had gone through the Treasure process with some great finds.
Graham took many new club members under his wing and spent his time teaching novice members on the art of metal detecting.
He will be sorely missed by his club members, and regional colleagues and especially by Terry and Pennie from the Chippenham club. May he rest in peace.
